Controlling one network

In the ‘Networks’ tab it is possible to control a network in a similar way as an individual luminaire. By tapping on the network, all the luminaires inside the network will switch on or off. It is also possible to dim the whole network with swiping left or right and colour temperature can be changed by swiping up and down if there are luminaires that have a support for changing colour temperature.

Controlling individual luminaire inside a network

Double tapping a network will open it and from that screen it is possible to control individual luminaires.

Scenes

In the ‘Scenes’ tab it is possible to create Site-level scenes and animations.

Site-level scenes can include luminaires from different networks. Also a whole network can be selected into a scene. Individual luminaires can be selected by opening a network with double tapping on the icon. Creating and editing Site-level scenes is done in a same way as the network-level scenes. For more information about creating scenes and animations, see http://support.casambi.com/support/solutions/articles/12000021615-scenes-and-animations.

For example, a location containing three office buildings could be combined into one Site. A Site-level Night scene could then be created which would set the luminaires in the receptions areas of each building network to 20% during night hours. This scene could then be activated manually or via a Site-level timer. See below.

Timers

It is possible to create Site-level timers that control Site-level scenes. Timers can be configured in Timers screen under ‘More’ tab. Site-level Timers are configured in a same way as the network-level Timers. For more information about Timers, see http://support.casambi.com/support/solutions/articles/12000021617-timer.

Continuing with the office location example above, a Site-level Night timer could be created to enable a Night scene to dim the reception area luminaires during the night.
