A network a common "location" to which Casambi devices must be added if they need to communicate with each other. All Casambi devices added (paired) to a network will share specific network settings.
Even if only one Casambi device is to be used it must be added to its own network to ensure it receives certain settings and can be controlled from the Casambi app.
When a device is added to a network it can then be controlled from the Casambi app. Additional Casambi enabled devices can be added to an exiting network if required at a later date.
All devices in a network automatically form a wireless mesh link to other nearby Casambi devices in the same network. This enables seamless communication between all devices in that network and the possibility to control every device in the network together or individually, even if you are only within Bluetooth range of one device.
