Casambi Commissioning Competence Certification (4C)
Please note that this assessment does not include any training! It is only a test. If you are looking for training about Casambi and our solutions please check our "On-demand" or "In-person" training options.
4C is a 2-day in-person assessment where Casambi will test and evaluate your Casambi knowledge and ability to interpret customer specifications into correct functionality. Extensive experience with all default aspects and functionality available from the Casambi app is essential. Some theory is included, but most of the test comprises programming tasks, a larger multi-network commissioning exercise (taking up to 6 hours to complete), and a written test.
4C participants should be regularly programming Casambi systems and be very familiar and confident with all the functionality of the Casambi app (such as adding devices to a network, creating groups, renaming devices, and creating scenes). In addition they should be familiar with how to change hardware device profiles, configuration of switches and sensors, the application of circadian and daylight control within scenes, the creation and correct use of time based scenes and animations, the use of timers, and the use of the Sites feature. They should also know the typical actions to take should potential communication or configuration errors occur. This experience will only come through using the app over a longer period of time and on various projects. Knowledge of all of these aspects will be required to be demonstrated during the 4C assessment.
Successful individuals have the option for Casambi to promote them on our website as Certified Commissioning Partners. Certification is personal, valid for 24-months, and automatically renewed following the successful completion of a bi-annual online follow-up.
4C is held face-to-face at our facilities in either Espoo Finland, Singapore, or Atlanta USA.
4C participants must cover their own travel & accommodation costs, but there is no charge for the 4C assessment itself.
