What is an API?

Modified on Wed, 11 Aug, 2021 at 9:33 AM

API means Application Programming Interface.

An API is a set of routines, protocols, & tools to enable custom software applications to be built. Casambi’s API allows developers to connect to a Casambi system. It specifies the “building blocks” & defines what interactions are permitted. A software programmer can use the API building blocks to develop custom software applications, such as different user interfaces.
