The most common cause of the Cloud Gateway getting stuck is that the Casambi network configuration has been updated incorrectly. The reason for this can be, for example, an old version of the Casambi app. When an old app version is used, and the Cloud Gateway is removed from the Casambi network, the internal configuration of the Gateway is not updated and the device gets stuck.
Please ensure the following to avoid the Cloud Gateway getting stuck:
- The Casambi app has been updated to the latest version
- Both the Casambi network and the internet connection meet all Cloud Gateway requirements
- The Gateway is constantly powered on
- The Gateway always has a reliable internet connection
- The Gateway is close enough to the network units
- It is recommended that the Gateway has a direct line of sight to at least one network node
