BXT-130 Infrared Blaster, introduction

Modified on Thu, 26 Sep at 10:07 AM

The Remotec BXT-130 is an infrared blaster / remote control that can work together with Casambi networks to control your other electrical appliances. It can control any consumer electronic appliance that already uses an infrared remote, such as TVs, projectors, wall-mount air-conditioning units, or fans.

The infrared blaster works by learning the infrared commands sending out by the original appliance's remote, and sending out the commands in place of the original remote controller when triggered by Casambi.

There are 8 channels in the IR blaster, with any combination of ON/OFF toggles, or push buttons.

There are 9 fixture profiles to the IR blaster to select the combination (8 toggle and 0 buttons, 7 toggle and 1 button, 6 toggle and 2 buttons, etc...).

You can rename the toggle and button as required.

The IR blaster is 360° omnidirectional. It will need to be physically placed in a location where it has direct line of sight with the appliance that it is controlling.

You can then program the IR blaster as part of a Scene if needed.
