Should Salvador not detect all connected DALI drivers, please check all fault finding recommendations listed below:
- Run the Discovery process again.
- Check that that all DALI drivers have been properly wired to the Salvador device. If there is a section of DALI drivers in the same location that could not be detected, check the wiring connections to the first driver in that location to ensure that the DALI wiring is properly connected.
- If you are unable to detect any drivers at all, check that the physical wiring connection at the Salvador itself to ensure that there are no loose connections.
- Check our Salvador datasheet to ensure that your type of DALI device is supported by Salvador. Salvador currently supports DALI DT6 and DT8 DALI drivers.
- Check that you have not connected more drivers than supported, based on the model you have purchased. For instance, a Salvador 1016 can only detect 16 DALI drivers, and the 17th driver would not be detected.
- Check the DALI bus voltage and current at all drivers is within the technical specifications specified in IEC 62386 DALI standard.
- Check that you do not have any other type of DALI controls connected to Salvador, such as DALI sensors, or DALI switches.
- Update the Salvador firmware to the latest version (if one exists).
- If you have a spare Salvador unit, swap out the potentially problematic one to confirm that you do not have a faulty unit.
