This setting enables interoperability between the Casambi wireless ecosystem and the wired DALI system by allowing data to be shared across both systems.
Important limitations:
- The DALI standard allows for up to 64 input devices per network.
- The CBU-DCS can process up to 80 DALI-2 “instances”, which includes sensors and switches.
Note: Exported input devices, for example sensors, do not initially have an automatically assigned DALI-2 address. When these input devices are exposed to an external controller by CBU-DCS, the capable controller can discover, address and further configure these input devices. Currently, all input devices from the network are exported (if their “Export (...)” function is enabled).
